Getting a smartphone is exciting, but it can also be intimidating. Don’t be afraid! These tips will have you up and running on your new Samsung in no time!
Fast and easy charging
Cell phone users often complain about how quickly their phones can lose a charge. The new Galaxy phones feature fast-charge technology. Just plugging in your phone for 10 minutes will provide 4 more hours of use.
In addition to fast charging, these smartphones offer wireless charging, too! It's frustrating carrying around all different types of charging cords for your various electronic devices. No worries. With the new Galaxy, they offer wireless charging pads. All you have to do is place your phone on the pad and it will charge. Keep it at your desk, by your bed — wherever.
With these quick charging features, you’ll never have to worry about having another dead phone!
Smartphones in general can look intimidating, but not these. The new Samsung operating system features an easy mode.
You no longer have to worry about small icons and tons of menus to dig through. With this new easy mode feature, you can make icons and fonts larger, so you can easily find what you’re looking for throughout the entire interface.
Simply go into your settings menu, select the personalization option and you’ll see the Easy Mode icon.
Translation? Si, oui, ja!
Alongside these neat features, these phones also offer an optical reader.
Have you ever gone out with the family to try a new Mexican or French restaurant only to find you can’t read a thing on the menu? Just pull out your smart phone and open your optical reader to get a fast translation of what you’ll be eating.
Want a quick, easy way to send pictures, videos, notes, documents and other files to friends? Simply go into the settings on your phone and turn on your NFC setting.
This neat little feature allows you and other Android users to pass that amazing picture you just took back and forth. Make sure your friend’s NFC feature is turned on, too. Then place the back of the phones to one another and the file currently displayed on the screen will instantly be transferred.
There’s nothing better than when a smartphone makes your life easier.
These are only a few features that the new Samsungs have to offer. Always be willing to explore new options and your smartphone will soon be driving your vehicle! OK, maybe they don’t go that far, but they can provide you with directions, or even serve as a remote for your TV!
Enjoy these tips and stay tuned for more to come!
