United Wireless Opens New Agent Location

DODGE CITY, Kan., May 1, 2021 – United Wireless is thrilled to join in a partnership with Susan McKinney of Mountain Plains Agency in Johnson to open an agent location. Customers in the Johnson area can now visit Susan to take care of all their wireless phone needs, whether it’s upgrading their handset, reviewing their plan, or adding another line.

The All-New United Wireless

You probably don’t think about phones and data plans as much as we do around here, but I’ve got some news I hope you’ll like.

As of Nov. 2, 2015, we are THE mobile telephone company of choice for our southwest Kansas friends and neighbors. The hands-down choice, in my (maybe not so humble) opinion.

Yes, this is big talk. Can I back it up? Well, we’ve been working on a lot of changes around here to make sure that United Wireless is the best choice in SWK. Everything was on the table.

Get up to $200 in Credit for Switching to United Wireless

We’ve all been there — stuck in a contract with a company we’re not happy with. Sometimes what we thought we were going to get and what we end up getting are two very different things. And trying to untangle ourselves can be uncomfortable.

Switching wireless companies does not have to be a painful experience.

At United Wireless, we pride ourselves on offering great service in Southwest Kansas for a great value. We have a variety of phones and plans to meet everyone’s needs — from single users to families, teenagers to seniors, city slickers to rural folks.

Contracts, Payment Plans, and the Real Value of Your Cell Phone

“But it only costs a dollar.”

I have heard this many times when customers are confused about having to pay $300 for a damaged phone when it only cost them $1 to buy.

It’s more complicated than that, I explain.

In the last year or two, the wireless industry has seen a transformation in how consumers purchase their cell phones — moving from a "subsidized" model to a financing model.
